Well. I just realized my “About” page didn’t say anything about me. One of these days I’ll write myself a thoughtful, thorough and amusing bio. This is not that day. Instead, I’ll disgorge ten random facts:
- Shoveling snow is my idea of fun.
- So is writing. There must be a connection here.
- I don’t drive. I prefer public transportation, walking and biking.
- My wardrobe comes from an eclectic array of boutiques, thrift stores and trash heaps.
- My adopted home state is Wisconsin, though I was born in California.
- One of my kids is in the Army.
- I like the Deftones, kumquats, sycamore trees, and books with maps in them.
- I work in a metaphysical store–the kind of place you go for incense, psychic readings, crystals, and books by people who speak fluent Unicorn.
- Favorite quote: “Most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be.” –Abraham Lincoln
- I’m 53, female, recently widowed, almost vegan, and Scorpio.
Found you while searching for a Linda Pastan poem. Nice to meet you.
